“I put a lot of love into it and spent years getting every detail right. Davies & Davies were the only agents who talked about the house the way I saw it. They knew exactly who it was for and found them fast. I’ll be bringing them the next one.”

Your home is where life happens: first keys, late nights, growing families and everything in between. We’ve been part of those stories across Inner North London since 1927. Today, we’re a tight-knit team of property experts and creatives, committed to making every move feel like it matters, because it does.
We were founded in 1927 - yet we don’t look a day over 98.
Year on year we’re local market leaders for both sales and lettings.
Named the 7th best agency in the UK by the Best Estate Agent Guide
In 2025 we reached over 1.1m people through our social marketing alone.
So far in 2026 we’ve sold 40% more homes than our nearest competitor.
We start by pricing with total honesty and zero guesswork. That means telling you what your home is really worth, not what would guarantee us the business.
Then, instead of an off-the-shelf checklist, we build a strategy unique to your home. From day one, we plan everything – from how your home is styled, presented and marketed, to who we target and how we’ll negotiate when the offers come in. It’s all created in-house by a team whose backgrounds run from property and interiors, to marketing, film and design. Once an offer is agreed, we stay close, chasing, smoothing and problem-solving all the way to completion. And we don’t tie you in. Most agents ask for three months or more; we ask for four weeks. It keeps us sharp and it keeps you in charge.
Letting instead? The same thinking applies: accurate pricing, the right strategy, great tenants, plus a team that keeps you compliant and looks after your property as if it were our own.
It’s not how most agents work. After 99 years, we think that’s rather the point.

Sam
Seller, Stroud Green
“I’d definitely come back to Davies & Davies. They were super friendly, I felt like I could rely on them to have my back and not be pushing through a sale I wasn’t sure about – so they’ve got my trust.”
Charlotte
Buyer, Finsbury Park
“They respond quickly, answer the phone and explain everything clearly. Our previous agency were inflating costs, ignoring us and a problem we had with damp was just getting worse. Since moving to D&D we’ve not had these problems and the damp was resolved within a matter of months.”
Natalie
Block Management Client, Archway
“Davies & Davies have been brilliant. I’ve worked with them before and totally trust them. They also know the local market inside out.”
Richard
Developer, Stroud Green
The business, founded in 1927, is now led by four directors – Claire, Katrina, Mark and Alex – combining decades of property experience with a more design-led perspective.
We’ve intentionally built a team that doesn’t look like the traditional estate agency mould. By bringing together seasoned property experts and creative minds, we’ve created a much broader, smarter way of presenting, selling and managing homes.
Managing & Creative Director
Can eat an entire 18″ pizza by herself, with dips! Talks to dogs like they’re adult humans. Often found listening to records whilst attempting not to burn dinner.
Favourite thing about North London: the Ewok village style beer garden at the Faltering Fullback in Stroud Green.
Vice Managing Director
Loves sports and outdoing his last PB. Is frequently found sprinting down Blackhorse Road in ugly running shoes. What time he has left is spent with his wife and daughter.
Favourite thing about North London: loves a flat white from Mereme in Stroud Green.
Director of Property & Block Management
Likes to do one random activity a month – soon to be taking part in the largest continuous inflatable obstacle course in the world.
Favourite thing about North London: the quirky independent restaurants and cafés in Crouch End.
Director of Sales
The fearless leader of the sales team, likes dad jokes and working on Sundays – when he’s not spending time with his partner and kids.
Favourite thing about North London: big fan of having a pot of tea and slice of cake at the cafe in Finsbury Park.
Property Valuer
An optimist at heart, always turning challenges into opportunities. Firm believer that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, and make it well!
Favourite thing about North London: the balance – you can go from a lively high street to a quiet spot in minutes.

A huge motorsports fan with a particular passion for all things motorbikes. If it’s got two wheels and an engine, it’s got Tom’s full attention.
Favourite thing about North London: the breathtaking views across London from Alexandra Palace
Senior Sales & Lettings Advisor
Martial Arts and food fan! Preferably not at the same time… it gets messy (he knows, he’s tried it). Also, a big fan of a vitamin supplement.
Favourite thing about North London: the people, the food, the park! And Pizzeria Pappagone – aka the best pizza.
Sales & Lettings Advisor
A sales professional by day and a gaming enthusiast by night. Usually found unwinding with a controller in hand after a productive day.
Favourite thing about North London: the amazing coffee shops – loves an Americano from Common Ground.

Yes. Davies & Davies sells, lets and manages homes across Inner North London, whether you need a buyer, a tenant, or someone to look after everything from rent collection to repairs. Through our sister company, Brompton Block Management, we also manage residential blocks. Whatever you need from your property, one team can take care of it.
Davies & Davies covers Inner North London, including Finsbury Park, Stroud Green, Crouch End, Highbury, Holloway, Archway, Harringay and Manor House. We’ve been part of these streets since 1927, so we know their buyers, tenants and prices inside out. If you’re just outside these areas, get in touch anyway – we’ve also sold properties across Hackney and Islington boroughs, and we manage properties across London!
Davies & Davies tells you what your property is really worth, not what you’d like to hear, then builds a strategy just for it, with all the marketing created in-house by our own team. We stay closely involved from start to finish and our sales terms last just four weeks, where most agents ask for three months or more. In recent years we’ve been rated in the top 3% of UK estate agents and named the UK’s 7th best estate agent by the Best Estate Agent Guide in. Rightmove data shows we’re consistently the market leader for sales and lettings in N4.
Yes. We’re members of Propertymark (through ARLA and NAEA), which sets professional standards for estate and letting agents. We’re also members of The Property Ombudsman, so if something ever goes wrong, you have access to independent redress. Any money we hold for landlords and tenants is protected by the Propertymark Client Money Protection scheme.
Every member of our team holds, or is currently working towards, a professional qualification relevant to their role, from Propertymark qualifications for our sales and management team members, to bookkeeping and marketing qualifications elsewhere in the business.
Absolutely, and it’s one of the most useful conversations we have. We’ll look at what your property would sell for, what it would rent for, and what each option means for you, including letting now and selling later. You’ll get honest advice either way, even if the answer isn’t the one that earns us the most.
Yes, at Davies & Davies we always try to do the right thing, even when no one’s looking. We’re transparent about our fees, we never use pushy or underhand sales tactics, and we donate 2% of our profits to local charities every year. We also support local community groups and events, look after our team’s wellbeing with benefits such as paid mental health days and work to reduce our environmental impact, for example by replacing company cars with walking, cycling and public transport. You can read more in our Corporate Social Responsibility charter.
Yes. Most of the Davies & Davies team live in and around Inner North London, and some of us grew up here, so we’ve watched these neighbourhoods change first-hand. It means we know the streets, schools, parks and local favourites from experience, not just from a map and we’re always happy to share what it’s really like to live here. You can read about our favourite local spots on our team profiles.
At Davies & Davies, our sales agreements last just four weeks, where most agents ask for three months or more. After that, you’re free to move on if you’re not happy with how things are going. We’d rather earn your business than lock you into it.
At Davies & Davies, our main office is based at 85 Stroud Green Road, Finsbury Park, N4 3EG, in a Grade II listed building that’s been a local landmark for over a hundred years. Locals know it due to its unusual shop floor, corner location and clock above the door (which, despite having half a dozen experts look at it, we can’t seem to get to work! It’s a local mystery). Pop in during opening hours, or book an appointment if you’d prefer a set time.
Whether you’re selling, letting or still weighing it up, we’ll give you an honest view of what your property’s worth, the options open to you and exactly how we’d bring it to market. The best moves start with a good conversation.
